Set the example for your son by volunteering your time! Pack 2 needs your talents
and ideas!
Pack 2 Milton would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to be more involved in the Pack by volunteering for
a Pack 2 Committee Member position in the upcoming 2004-2005 year.
Attached is a description of the Committee Member
responsibilities. All committee positions will be shared in teams of two. The following positions are open:

Ø Secretary Ø Hospitality Coordinator Ø Publicity Coordinator Ø Special Events Coordinator Ø Religious
Coordinator
Committee members will meet once a month Along with the Den Leaders. If you are interested in any of the

* Treasurer - Responsible for monthly reports with regard to activity collections to the Pack 2 Committee. At
monthly Pack meetings - Collecting and recording payments for activities or events. Follow up phone calls to confirm bookings
if payment not made at pack meeting. Keep financial records for all activities or events.
* Secretary - Responsible
for attending and recording minutes of the monthly committee meeting. Duties include: preparing (and copying enough for
each committee member) a minutes report of the meeting for the following months meeting.
* Hospitality Coordinator
- Responsible for coordination of volunteers for set up and knock downs of Pack meetings and special Pack 2 events.
Duties include: calling to remind volunteers when events are forthcoming. Arranging refreshments for the adults and kids
for each pack meeting.
* Publicity Coordinator - Responsible for taking pictures of Pack events as necessary,
Duties include: Gathering photos from the Den Leaders as well as the photos taken, presenting all pictures and storyboards
to the committee for approval, submission of photos and storyboards to the two Milton newspapers (Milton Times, Milton transcript).
(**Film and processing will be reimbursed by the pack).
* Special Events Coordinator - Responsible for coordinating
events for Pack 2 (Celtics Basketball, Red Sox Baseball, WEBLOS Woods, Winter, etc, etc, etc, etc) Duties include: researching
events, timely registration for each event, creating sign up sheets for the events.
* Religious Coordinator -
Responsible for the coordination of the Cub Scout Religious Award program. Duties include; distribution of religious award
booklets to interested scouts; tracking their progress via their parents; collecting completed booklets for review; setting
up the meeting schedule with the Pastor; reporting to the Pack 2 Committee the progress and or the number of scouts eligible
to receive the religious award in preparation for the Cub Scout mass in February.
